PAYLOAD ÓPTICO 3U PARA OBSERVAÇÃO DA TERRA
E3UCAM is an Optical Earth Observation System capable of High Resolution imaging and ideal to be integrated in small satellites. This camera uses flight proven and new space technologies together to provide high quality image in a small volume and reduced power consumption.
Fully operational self contained camera with management system, optical front end, thermal control, data compaction and storage unit.
Capable to operating on a wide range of LEO orbits (from 400 to 800 km), polar or equatorial.
Designed to operate with up to four customizable spectral bands (e.g. R, G, B, Red-Edge, NIR among others), with individual TDI stages control, allowing multispectral coverage.
Fully reflexive optical system – Achromatic – based on a Korsch architecture and composed by aspherical mirrors with low thermal expansion coefficients.
The CMOS on CCD sensor is able to perform time delayed integration (TDI) process, allowing image acquisition at low radiometric levels.
The CCD sensor also has programmable integration time, and number of TDI stages, allowing fine adjustment in the image quality.
Thermal focusing mechanism mounted on the optical train, allowing fine tune of focal position and increased performance.
Low power active thermal control, based on heaters and thermistors, located on selected points allowing active thermal stability.
All necessary voltages are generated internally from an embedded power conditioning unit.
Mission planning capabilities in internal processor with RTC, image storage, pre and post processing for later scheduled deployment.
Nine operating modes allowing better power management to reduce system consumption and flexibility on mission planning: acquisition, transmission, processing, data formatting, image conditioning, image compression, focus adjustment, and stand-by.
